家長感覺觀察指南
Understand your child's sensory processing approach · Pivotal Paediatric Development — home-based paediatric occupational therapy
You know your child best. This guide is not a test, and there is no score — it simply helps you observe and note your child's everyday reactions with a clearer direction, so you can better understand how they experience the world.
Children with sensory processing difficulties typically present in one of three to four styles. The seven observation areas below help you better understand how your child processes sensory inputs.
Reacts strongly to certain sensations — avoiding, covering ears or eyes, protesting, becoming distressed quickly.
Appears to barely react to certain sensations — needs strong input before noticing.
Constantly chases a particular sensation — such as crashing, jumping, spinning, touching, or chewing.
Over-responsive to some sensations and under-responsive or seeking with others — a common combination.
